We’re cooking up another delicious pairing event featuring 888 Cheese & Co. and Ahnapee brews, but this time you get to see “behind the scenes”! Similar to prior Brews & Small Plates events we’ll be featuring three unique courses, however this time we’ll be giving more insight into how we pair the beers…and we’ll be giving you more pairing options (and more beer). 888 will be serving up 3 courses of small plates, each course will be paired with 3 different 5oz Ahnapee Craft Beers for only $28 per person. The menu on Saturday, September 21st will be the courses below and each course will be paired with three 5oz beers so you can see what works, what doesn’t and which ones are left up for interpretation.
- Portobello Crostini. Roasted portobello mushrooms, creamy goat cheese served on French crostini.
- Pepper Steak. Sliced Steak, bell peppers, red onions, & crushed red pepper flakes over rice.
- Cherry Parfait. Layered graham cracker, cheesecake, & cherry pie goodness.
